PREMIUM STOCK PROTECTION

If you have special stock protection needs we have a PREMIUM PROTECTION option to give you a standard of protection far superior to normal export practice. With the PREMIUM PROTECTION option we:

Clean off dirt

Bubble wrap all body parts

Add Face, Edge and Corner protection to all doors, tailgates, trunks, etc.

Add identifying label on outside of bubble wrap

Bubble Wrap seats etc. with additional cardboard protection where necessary

WHICH MEANS:

Maximum protection during container loading, transit, unloading and handling to your premises!

Stock is already protected for sale to your customers. If necessary, the stock can be unwrapped for inspection, and resealed with the same wrapping, saving time and money!

SHIP MORE - PAY LESS

The usual method exporters use for parts containers is "Strip & Ship". That is, prepare just enough stock for one container. What this means is that you are normally restricted because of the "bigs" in the container, like half cuts, whole cars or body shells and never get full use of the available space in the container.

Now we can do a "Strip & Ship" container if you want. But theres another option that lets you get full containers, lets you get your best stock first and actually reduces the number of containers that you need to ship your stock.

The "Strip, Store & Ship" method lets you ship parts from the same car in different containers, optimise the available space in the container, ship your highest demand parts first and reduce the number of containers that you need to ship the same amount of stock.

As an example, let's say that you had 25 cars where 2 were to be shipped whole, the others dismantled as front cuts and parts and you also wanted some bulk parts like nose cuts, bonnets, fenders etc.

Rather than just dismantle just the first 8 cars and ship them with the whole car and bulk parts - leaving big gaps and wasted space in the container - we can dismantle all 23 cars and get the panels and small parts into container 1. Container 2 will have 15 front halves, another whole car and parts. This means you:

get all your quick moving front panel and small parts in the first container, to get your money back quickly.

avoid having to do a third container to ship the leftovers. This means a saving of between Y230,000 and Y480,000 - depending on your destination - for loading, drayage, sea freight etc. This is because the Strip, Store & Ship method made full use of the available space in Container 1.

A bonus is that you get solidly packed containers where the stock is held in tight and can't move around and get damaged.

FREE SHIPPING

A 40 foot high cube container lets you have stacks of front cuts 3 high which can mean better use of space inside the container than a 20 foot container where 2 high stacks are usually the limit.

For some shipping destinations you can get high cube 40 foot containers at the same price as standard 40 foot containers.

This means that you are getting an extra 13% of space - 9 cubic metres - for free. The extra space lets you ship another 6 or 7 front cuts, or panels or whatever, all for no extra cost.
